Eagle View Equestrian Centre is situated in the heart of the Cariboo, near Williams Lake, BC. We offer a privately owned year round horseback riding facility featuring two outdoor riding surfaces and a 76'x200' indoor arena with adjoining 21 stall barn, enclosed viewing area, washrooms and concession.
Primarily raising and training our own running bred Quarter Horses, other services offered include stallion services, horse boarding, horse sales and events. We have developed an extreme trail course to enhance our training as well. The property borders miles of trails for your riding pleasure. There is a Riding Club that meets monthly to help organize and operate a variety of events throughout the year.
RULES and EXPECTATIONS:
ARENA HOURS: Winter hours are 8 am to 8 pm; Summer hours are 7 am to 9 pm. Regular arena grooming is scheduled for approx. 4:30-5:30 each day.
MEMBERSHIP: Members Only. All unregistered non-members and guests must have PERMISSION prior to riding or visiting the facility.
WAIVERS: All riders, instructors and handlers must sign an annual liability waiver.
CHILDREN: Children 16 and under must be accompanied and supervised by an adult while on the property.
HELMETS: Riders 10 and under MUST wear an approved helmet while on horseback ON THE PROPERTY.
FOOTWEAR: Appropriate heeled footwear must be worn while riding (i.e. no running shoes).
COACHES: Coaches must be accredited and provide their own insurance.
SMOKING: No Smoking or Vaping in the Buildings.
DOGS: No DOGS allowed in the Riding Arenas. Dogs must be on leash on the premises.
TYING: Do NOT tie to metal panels! Please tie only to supplied tie rings, solid fence posts or trailer ties.
SHARING: Ride safely and with courtesy – riders must be in control of their horse(s) at all times and follow proper arena etiquette.
CLEAN UP: Clean up all manure and garbage before you leave the premises. Sweep alley after use. Rake in any holes or hard spots made by practicing, lunging or horses digging.
GATES, DOORS, LIGHTS: Close gates and doors. Turn out lights if you are last to leave.
EXPECTATIONS – be kind, considerate and tidy
PARKING: park courteously during events. Tie to your trailer, or supplied tie rings, but not to fences or panels. Do not block any entrances or high traffic areas with your vehicle.
EQUIPMENT: during OPEN RIDING, no equipment to be set up UNLESS all other riders are okay with it. If any other riders arrive, you are expected to remove equipment unless others are agreeable. All Equipment to be returned to corners, once your ride is done. If any equipment is damaged, please report to us so we can repair it.
HCBC: Horse Council BC membership recommended for your personal protection.
ETIQUETTE: share the arena following standard arena etiquette: i.e. left circles at one end, rights at the other; lesson students have the right of way and priority in the arena.
MANURE: Clean up manure in arena and around your trailer before pulling out. Empty manure wagons before they get too full or freeze.

We are a PRIVATE, multi use facility shared by owners, members and boarders. If any rules or expectations are not met, we have the right to refuse future access to the facility.
